Sustainable Innovation Sessions

RAI Amsterdam has the ambition to become the most sustainable player in the international trade show and events market. We Are Perspective and WIT industrial Design created 4 customized Sustainable Innovation Sessions for RAI Exhibitions. These 2-day sessions inspired event managers and provided them with basic knowledge and tools to enable them to make sustainability an integral aspect of their events.

Main goals of the sessions were to:

- Educate and share basic knowledge of Cradle to Cradle and sustainability

- Give managers the tools and inspiration to work towards sustainable goals

- Develop first ideas and shape goals

- Build an initial roadmap with clearly defined steps towards a sustainable future

Event managers at the RAI where pleased with the results, confirming the benefit of innovating with sustainability to find business value – as opposed to it being just an extra operational obligation. The real breakthroughs came from eco-effective thinking, unlocking new directions to help shape and streamline their future business. The sessions brought them together as a team towards unified goals, generating ideas that might hit the market sooner than expected!
