The Hotelslicer is an innovative bread slicing system, specially developed for all occasions.
The Hotelslicer can slice all types of bread with ease, even thick crust or oven fresh.
This is made possible by an ergonomic knife for left and right handed users with a patented friction-free guide.
We began by researching and reviewing the client’s needs and evaluating the existing product to define the core requirements. The analysis was then translated into a strategy for developing the design language and functionality. The ensuing concepts maintained a link with the established brand while creating a logical relationship between functionality, form, and manufacturing feasibility. Improved assembly created better logistics through a smaller shipping format and crafty use of plate steel technologies to reduce assembly cost,manufacturing processes and material use. The result is a design that can cost effectively be scaled up in production volumes.
