Brand exploration and guidelines for SME

We Are Perspective and Pezy Product Innovation collaborated closely with the Xsens® design team to create the MTw™, a super compact wireless motion tracking sensor. The MTw™ wireless sensor is used for capturing the full motion of a body in action and communicates with state of the art software to capture the movement digitally. It is used in medical, entertainment and industrial sectors. Several Hollywood movies like this year’s Alice in Wonderland and IronMan 2 make use of Xsens products to create realistic special effects. In movement science the system is used to research the movement of the body or limbs to understand and help cure physiological problems.

During the design process we worked with Xsens to determine the essence of their brand and how that could be reflected in their products. We developed design guidelines based on the brand identity and created concepts that simultaneously represented the stringent technical requirements and communicated the brand experience. In close cooperation with Pezy Product Innovation we developed the final design that enabled Xsens to quickly get their product to market.
