UNDERSTANDING THE BRIEF
We immerse ourselves in the world of our users and ask the right questions to uncover valuable insights that enhance the user experience. We achieve this through in-depth, multilayered research, ranging from ethnographic workshops and user interviews to analysing global trends.
By discovering and defining relevant human behaviors, we create captivating concepts for products and experiences.
DESIGN FOR MANUFACTURE (DFM)
Our experienced team of mechanical, software and electrical engineers help prepare concepts for manufacturing. Our understanding and knowledge of the manufacturing process, (e.g. injection molding, flow, tooling, metal fabrication) is essential in creating feasible, market ready products
INDUSTRIAL DESIGN (CONCEPT GENERATION)
We bring the concepts to life through cutting-edge renders, including evocative sketches, photorealistic CAD, and foam models.
These foam models can be a full sized scale model of the product. We found this to be the best way to understand ergonomics and proportion.
PROTOTYPING
Before committing to full production, we create prototypes to understand its ergonomics, finish and functionality are up to our expectations. This can take the form of form models, 3D printed or CNC-ed parts. Prototyping is crucial in giving us and clients a physical object to interact with, as well as helping us identify any areas of improvement, which then our engineers can refine for production.
SMALL BATCH AND LARGE-SCALE MASS PRODUCTION
With all teething issues ironed out by this stage, the product begins production. We are confident in our small batch production capabilities, and no project is too small for us.
Bringing products to market means bringing a complete solution to clients. For some projects we designed packaging, store display (point of sale) to create a holistic product journey.
